| This article, investigates media use behaviors and television usage motives of elderly in Turkey. The sample consists of 1506 people over 60 years old who live in city of Konya. It is suggested that elders spend an average 4 hours a day on watching television. The results verify the importance of relaxation/entertainment/ companionship, information/interpersonal utility/surveillance, escape/social interaction and pass time/habits as a motive for watching television. .... | The present review examines the relationship between physical activity and cognition separately for non-interventional and interventional studies following an examination of the concepts physical activity, fitness, cognition. The cross-sectional and longitudinal non-intervention studies show a clear association between physical activity and cognitive functioning. | The number of international travellers has been increased, and so the number of the elderly travellers. Decreases in multi-organ functions and chronic illnesses, multi-drug use might complicate the travel in old age. The datas form the last three years of Private Anatolia Hospital show us an increased hospitalisation and mortalitiy rate among the patients aged over 65.
